New season, new era & new me

It’s your girl Gigi, and welcome to my very first post! I’m so excited to start this journey with you.

So, summer is officially slipping through our manicured fingers. The sun is softer, the air cooler, and suddenly everything around me feels like it’s shifting too. With the crispness of fall comes that bittersweet nostalgia—like the universe itself is reminding me of things I’d half-buried. Mostly? Him. My ex-situationship. My favorite Italian of all time. The one who managed to break my heart but somehow still lingers in the background—like the faint smell of pasta in my favorite restaurant.This time last year, I was in Paris. He and I had just started something… intoxicating. Those memories? Gorgeous. But now, they sting. Distance unraveled us, and as if fate wanted to twist the knife, he’s already moved on—with a girl who looks suspiciously like my cheaper version twin. Yeah. Double ouch.

But here’s the thing: if summer taught me anything, it’s that endings are just disguised new beginnings. So, I said goodbye to my blonde highlights, chopped my hair to chic shoulder length, and christened this chapter my new era. Same old heart, maybe, but a braver version of me carrying it.And can we talk obsessions? Because lately, I’m head over heels (pun intended) for polka-dot nails—thank you, Hailey Bieber. Oh, and while we’re at it, can we collectively retire sneakers for a minute and bring back heels? There’s something about slipping into a pointy stiletto that instantly makes life feel more polished—even if my toes are silently crying. Pain, but make it classy.

What I want this little corner of the internet to be is more than just a diary of tragic love stories. I want it to be a space where we talk girlhood, fashion, heartbreak, and healing—together.
